In Albania, the only toll highway is A1 Durres – Kosovo with a length of 114 km. The highway starts from the port city of Durres and ends at the border with Kosovo. In Kosovo, the extension of the highway is the R7 highway.

Maximum permissible blood alcohol level 0.1 ‰ .

If the blood alcohol level exceeds the legal limit, a fine of ALL 2,500 to 10,000 (€ 24 – 97) and a driving license suspension of 6 to 12 months will be imposed.
